Andrew Argyrew
Another first year player that took time to get used to the bash and clash of
tackers footy. Like Raf, he had his best games towards the end of the year
taking some courageous chest marks in very congested areas. Andrew
has one of the best chest marks at our club and trains as good as any of
our players.

Cody Soussa
Along with Benny, Cody is not only one of our smallest players, but
probably our youngest. Cody has no fear though and pace to burn. He
loves to take opposition players on and regularly beats them. His run and
carry broke the lines on many occasions boy does he love a goal. He will
only get faster and stronger next year so watch out competition.

Dan Stavretis
Dan is a the “Sam Mitchell” of our team. His awareness of players around
him in packs cannot be taught and he seems like he has loads of time to
make a decision. Dan had a great year and narrowly missed out in our
B&F. Next year he will find himself spending more and more time in our
midfield and if they kept stats for clearances, I’m sure he’d be somewhere
near the top.

Kiran Chandra
Kiran, like some of the other first year players, took some time to come to
grips with tackers but like the others, towards the end of the year he was
right at home. He was always in amongst the packs, feeding handballs
out to our running players. His last few practice games against tackers
Blue were sensational and only reinforces my belief that next year, Kiran
will go to that next level.
