UNDER 10s RED

Third Best & Fairest – Eli Taylor
Eli worked his way into the season slowly but when he got going he
displayed some awesome feats on the field and often lifted others around
him through his effort and impact on the contest.
His powerful attack on the ball makes him a valuable player capable of
playing anywhere on the ground and we often use him to plug gaps in the
ruck, down back or wherever we had the need. His flexibility makes him a
valuable team member and his ability to break the lines makes him a
deserved winner of this award.
“Congratulations Eli for also finishing inside the top 15 in the YJFL B&F and
we look forward to another fantastic season 2015!”

Most Improved – Kye McConnell

Kye has all the attributes of a fantastic young footballer and this year he
started to bring all of those attributes together.
His concentration in particular improved throughout the year and when he
applied this along with his effort, he was able to have an influence on many
games.
I'm excited about the progress Kye has made this year and his potential for
further development.

“Keep up the good work Kye! Practice the things you've learnt, keep your
head in the game and I'm sure you will enjoy your football more and more.
Well done!”

Coach’s Award – Hamish Kay
Hamish joined our club for the first time this year and his presence was
immediately felt. A quiet lad, Hamish is a fantastic listener who is able to put
instructions into practice.
Hamish's development throughout the year has been outstanding and a
great example for all our players. When you have a player who is willing to
learn, follow instructions and work hard on and off the field, you have a
player every coach wants in his team. Hamish also managed to draw the
attention of umpires and received votes in YJFL’s B&F count.
“Congratulations Hamish you thoroughly deserve this recognition. I can’t
wait to see your development over the next twelve months and I wish you all
the very best for season 2015!”
