And there were many other outstanding
memories from the season that helped shape
it into an enjoyable one. For me they included:

Best & Fairest – Kynan Brown
Kynan is an impressive young footballer with a massive work ethic and a
passion to win every contest. He brings his best every week and this year
he elevated his football to a new level.
His relentless chasing, tackling and smothering enable him to win
numerous contests and clearly be the number one clearance player for our
team. Kynan delighted the crowd and frustrated the opposition with his
running and evasive skills nearly every week.
“Congratulations Kynan on a top 15 finish in the YJFL B&F and for receiving

Greythorn’s best and fairest award for 2014, you deserve every recognition
for your year and I wish you all the very best in 2015!”

Runner-up Best and Fairest - Keegan Burhop.
Keegan had an outstanding year despite missing a number of games. His
football was so consistently high in the games he did play that he was able
to poll very well not only in our count but also the league B&F with 6 votes
and a top 25 finish. Keegan's ability to read the play and particularly the
flight of the ball is equal to that of a player 10 years older. Combine that
with his elite marking ability and you have a player that can influence a
game off his own boot.
“Well done Keegan! You have been a pleasure to watch and a pleasure to
coach. Your effort through the year has been outstanding and is an example
to us all. Congratulations and all the best for season 2015!”
