he President and Committee of the Greythorn Football Club would like to offer
their sincere congratulations to the people and organisations noted below.

All have had significant success in their chosen endeavors and can be justifiably proud of
what they have accomplished.
We extend our congratulations to the following:

• Our Under 11s and Under 12s Greythorn teams on contesting this year’s YJFL final series.
• Our GDU Colts team on making it through to the Section 2 Grand Final.
• David Waldron, Nick Daicos, Luke Kelvie,and Jamie Lay from our Greythorn teams and
Chris Kerdemelidis, Jyedin Williams, Will Macafee, Zane Kadlecik, James Waldon and
Christian Thiel from the GDU teams on being invited to attend the YJFL Presentation
Evening as a result of their high finishes in the League Best & Fairest awards.
• Zane Kadlecik of the GDU Colts team on being named the Runner-Up Best & Fairest player
in the YJFL Section 2 Colts competition.
• David Waldron, Nick Daicos, Chris Kerdemelidis and James Waldon on each being
named the Third Best & Fairest player in the YJFL awards for their respective competitions.
• Jack Tolley of the Under 11s team on being the leading goal kicker in the competition.
• The Bulleen Templestowe Colts team on winning this year’s Section 2 Grand Final.
• The Beverley Hills R Under 12s Gold team and the Banyule Under 11s Green team on
winning the premierships in the final series our teams competed in.
• Former player Tom Cutler on being selected by Brisbane in the 2013 AFL draft.
• Former player Tom Cutler on being selected to play his first AFL game and the subsequent
games following.
• Peter Daicos (father of Nick) on having the special training Academy for the sons of elite
players at Collingwood’s Westpac Centre named after him.
• Stephen Silvagni (father of Jack & Tom) on being named one of the five greatest Carlton
players of all time.
• Former player Dan Houston on winning the “Slurpee Challenge” against Collingwood
forward Travis Cloke.
• All our award winners as noted in the “Teams” section of this yearbook – we congratulate
you.
