Coaches Coordinator Report

2014

This is the third year that the club has had a
Coaches Coordinator and during 2014 there
has been a lot done to build on the initiatives
of earlier years.

The overall aim of the Club having this
position and funding programs is to improve
the level of knowledge in the club, to help
develop our players and for this to be
reflected in better performances in higher
grades for our teams.
Coaching at Greythorn

Again, this year, we had a wonderful group of
dedicated coaches and on behalf of the
Committee and the Club I would like to
acknowledge their fantastic work both on and
off the ground.
At the time of writing this report we have five
coaches keen to coach for 2015, which still
leaves a number of positions available. The
club is very keen to have all positions filled
before the end of the year as this is a
. significant help with recruitment. If you are
keen to coach, please let me know directly or
send us an email –

Coaches Education

teams had one session and a number of
teams had a second session.

This compares to 2012 when the focus was

provided by experienced AFL or Oakleigh
