Best Team Player – Matt Grundy

Matty ‘Mad Dog’ Grundy is the ultimate team player. Always vocal, always
positive, and extremely emotional about his footy – the boys just love his
energy and effort. He is always asking questions and trying to find ways to
improve.
His footy has gone to a new level this year, and if you had told him early
last year he would be playing midfield in U15’s I don’t think he would have
believed it. The reason he was part of the midfield rotation was he was
always prepared to throw his body at the contest, put his head over the
ball, and do all the 1%’ers required on the ball.
Mad Dog also trained every week with the Colts to improve further,
attended almost every club BBQ and function, and never once looked flat.
In fact I’ve got no idea how he is going to cope without footy in the off-
season!
