Our best win for the season was an incredible

lot of confidence and from that point on
finished the season in fine style.
Playing finals for the first time was a great
journey for the boys (and the coaching staff
alike) and we are sure all will take something
from the experience.

Under 11s Coach Rowan Tolly. Despite limited
numbers all year – Rowan and his assistant
Steve Mellor were able to get their team into the
finals.

Another extremely good team we played in
these rounds was Banyule who finished clear
on top of the ladder at the end of the home
and away season. We were able to beat
Banyule in Round 1which turned out to be
their only loss for the season.
This, however, stood us in good stead for the
rest of the season as we were able to get
some hard games first up which enabled the
boys to quickly adjust to tough and quality
opposition.
Once again, similar to what occurred last year,
the boys were tried in a number of positions.
This willl aid their development going forward.
I cannot think of one boy that did not play in
more than 1 position for the entire year.
A key area of the boys’ development this year
was getting them to move the ball more
