Sale of 2025 Rice Harvest and RMB Finalisation Process
The Rice Marketing Board for the State of New South Wales (the RMB) is transitioning to the end of vesting by 1 July 2026. Throughout this transition phase the RMB will continue its day-to-day reporting, engagement and compliance on any vested rice grown in northern NSW before 1 September 2024 and in southern NSW before 1 July 2025. In this regard, it will continue to administer the Rice Marketing Act 1983, the Rice Marketing Amendment Act 2024 and the Sole Exclusive Export Licence (SEEL) until it ceases operation.
