Our firm was commenced in 1987 in Balwyn, moving to Box Hill some 3 years later. In 2001, we relocated to Blackburn.

Tom Fanning (Principal)

Tom commenced practice in 1987 after several years working in professional accounting firms. Leading the firm for over 20 years, he has built up substantial expertise and experience to assist small business owners and individuals.

Professional qualifications

• Bachelor of Economics (Monash University)
• Fellow of the CPA Australia
• Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia
• Specialist advisor, SMSF Association

To balance out things, Tom has been actively involved in community service through Rotary, serving as President, and being awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship from the North Camberwell club.

Active sporting interests are also important to Tom, and he participates in just about anything for a challenge. Currently, it is open water swimming and being shark bait. His wife and daughter worry about this from time to time.
