These examinations provide the employer with a record of the state of health of the employee at the time of leaving their employ and protects both employers and employees regarding the establishment of liability for work-related injuries and illnesses. The examination includes:-

  • Completion of a medical questionnaire regarding current health and work;
  • A complete physical examination (with a specific industry emphasis) including height, weight, vision, blood pressure and pulse; and
  • Additional assessments and investigations as appropriate.
