The compulsory repayment of Higher Education Loan Programme (HELP) (including old Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HECS)) debts changes on 1st July 2009.
From $43,151 to $48,066 the repayment is 4% of income
At $80,137 and above it is 8% of income
With a sliding scale in between.
