Update- Timing

Often we get asked the question- How do wealthy clients invest?

If we look at the research on Billionaires courtesy of Bloomberg we see that out of the top 200 Billionaires by ranking only 8 as at 31st August 2013 and 9 as at the 31st August 2014 hold cash assets of over 60%.

This means that over 95% of Billionaires in the top 200 invest the vast majority of their wealth in growth assets such as property and business which fluctuate in price.

We highlight this because many of these Billionaires know that valuations are stretched for companies, property and fixed interest assets which means that a price correction is looming but none know when or how deep.

That is the reason why we recommend that clients not speculate but instead wait for the opportunity when presented to buy more quality assets at reasonable or better still discounted price.

If this strategy is good enough for Warren Buffett then it is good enough for us to recommend.

At Newealth we are always looking to support and promote our clients wherever possible and if you have any ideas or comments, please feel free to email me via Contact Us or to call me on +61 2 9267 2322.
