Update- US Residential Property 

Have we at Newealth heard of Zillow which allows US vendors to list their property and buyers to search, compare and buy without going through an agent? Yes.

Did we know about Auction.com? No, never heard of it and what an idea.

It is effectively the eBay of property using the same clock countdown formula to close a deal. Due diligence takes place upfront with documents including property inspection reports available online to review during a pre-bidding period.

Founded in 2007, Auction.com has sold over 100,000 properties worth US$26 billion to buyers from over 100 countries.

Their bread and butter sale has been distressed US property but with the US property market recovering they have opened offices in Germany, the UK and Spain to get access to European distressed real estate.
