50 Years of Housing Failure is certainly a headline that got my attention and rightly so because something is fundamentally wrong with residential property prices.

The attached piece by Saul Eslake goes a long way to explain our current situation by reviewing the impact of government housing policy over a multi decade time frame.

The insight is tremendous and will hopefully help you understand that past performance is no guarantee of future performance.

Remember, interest rates are unsustainable at these all time lows and will go back up. It's not a matter of if but when?
