Update- Australian Immigration Policy If you are a foreign national prepared to invest $5m in Australia then you can now qualify for a Significant Investor visa. There is no need to satisfy the innovation points test or to speak English, just bring money to invest. Fast tracking wealthy foreigners will certainly open new business avenues and create more employment opportunities which are extremely beneficial but it will come at the cost of crowding out more existing Australians from being able to afford to purchase property in desirable suburbs.
