Update- University Degree

Don’t feel too bad if you haven’t heard of massive open online courses (MOOCs) that allow anyone to take a university course for free because it only really got going in April last year.

This is a game changer because the impact of being able to complete a maths and science course online from Duke or University of Pennsylvania or University of California or Irvine and receive accreditation towards a degree will completely change tertiary education forever.

Over the next decade, many new students will be asking themselves why they should accumulate hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt when they can get a degree from a prestigious university by completing free MOOCs.

In other words, how long before MOOCs become the mainstream method of qualifying for a university degree?
