According to a major new study by AECOM, for every $1 spent on cycleways the benefit to the economy is $4, compared with an average of $2 for motorways. In short, AECOM is forecasting at least $506 million in net economic benefits over 30 years from the construction of an inner city regional bicycle network. So, who’s up for cycling?
