Market Metrics

Can the sharemarket recovery continue is the question that we are continually being asked by clients.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835-1910), better known by his pen name Mark Twain, was quoted as saying ‘…History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme’.

History shows that the 1975 and 2003 sharemarket downturns are different to our current sharemarket downturn but this current downturn appears to be following a similar pattern (the red line) which could result in the recovery lasting for several years.

Will it prove correct? Time will tell with everyone still being shell shocked at present.

At Newealth we are always looking to innovate and improve our ongoing services wherever possible and if you have any ideas or comments, please feel free to email me via ‘Contact Us’ at www.newealth.com.au or to call me on +61 2 9267 2322.
