Update- Disruptive Technology
In 2006 we published our first piece on the electric car with the big drawback being insufficient battery power and the lack of a fast recharge solution.
We are 8 years on and finally we just might be on the cusp of a major breakthrough in battery technology.
Even if this technology proves unsuccessful the breakthrough will come eventually and it will completely change the consumption of fossil fuels and subsequently the valuations of oil and coal companies.
